Lancaster, PA Steps into the Future – Gets First Bitcoin ATM
CoinOutlet ATM Opens at Four54Grill
Lancaster, PA, November 12, 2014 – Lancaster is stepping into the future of the money and technology revolution by unveiling the first Bitcoin ATM in Pennsylvania on Friday night.
Bitcoin enthusiasts will be able to buy and sell bitcoins at the CoinOutlet ATM operating from the highly regarded Four54Grill on New Holland Avenue.
The launch event begins at 6pm, and features CoinOutlet CEO Eric Grill personally assisting users through the Bitcoin transaction process.
Bitcoin is a digital currency built on a decentralised model that operates independently from banking institutions. ATM machines are the center of the Bitcoin ecosystem – allowing the public access to easy and convenient buying and selling of Bitcoin for real cash.
CoinOutlet’s kiosks provide secure fulfillment services with bank grade security, and will soon be popping up all over the United States.
Mr Grill is delighted to launch Pennsylvania’s first Bitcoin ATM. “I grew up here, and I still live in Pennsylvania, so for me, it is very personal and exciting to roll out one of my machines in my home state.”
The advantage of CoinOutlet’s unique machines is they are one of the only companies on the market to offer a flexible two-way model, allowing users to either buy or sell bitcoins.
Four54Grill’s owner, Leigh Menkes, says he wanted to be the first location in Lancaster to have a Bitcoin ATM because he’s always looking for unique services to offer his customers. He encourages everyone to “come down to the best burger joint in town on Friday, and bring your Bitcoin wallet!”
